The Purgatio system is a mystical system that functions within the city of Neo Denetim. Its core purpose is monitoring the citizens for elevated levels of violent intent or psychosis that could lead to a crime. The system does so by monitoring the brain waves of individuals within the city and then reporting that information to the Exorcists Corps should an individual’s Manifestation Coefficient rise above a certain level. This has led to unprecedented levels of peace and prosperity within the town of New Denetim.
